About Me

I'm Daniel and I have come to realize something in my limited years - everyone has something that bothers them. It could be anything from a certain color that you think is gross to how a person acts. Personally, I happen to have a lot of things that irritate me and this can be quite a problem because I am married. Since we said "I do", life now means that somebody usually has to compromise or as I know it do something they don't like. My wife Mallory doesn't worry about the little things, but I tend to focus on them. My making a big deal over small thing things can sometimes put us at odds. This blog is here to talk about these things that go on in my life and relationship, and how I either take issue or deal with them.

I'm not sure why I am so nit-picky on certain things. It might be from my parents; they did a good job raising me and my siblings but it was their way or their way. It could also be from the military. I'm an Electronics Technicians 1st Class in the Coast Guard and if things don't get installed or fixed a certain way, it could have very serious repercussions. The fact of the matter is I'm set in my ways and that means I sweat the small stuff. I do this because the little things add up. I have to give Mallory credit, I don't know how she deals with me but I'm glad she does.
